This week I'm back at the grind after being away at Nags Head for a long weekend.  The weather was really good - only rained for a bit one afternoon.  It was super hot, and I got a decent amount of sun, which is good, because I haven't gotten out enough this summer.

I was with BF's family for part of the stay so we didn't have much time to shoot more fetish images.  We did stay at a hotel Sat. night and checked out Sunday.  The morning before we left we grabbed some shots of me in a super short vinyl skirt and pvc jacket.

The hotel was crappy - really crappy, because we reserved at the last minute and it was the only thing we could get.  Beggars can't be choosers.  It actually served for a good backdrop though. 

I was going to wear the vinyl skirt to breakfast after we shot it Sunday morning, but BF was feeling shy and didn't seem like he wanted me to, so I changed to a more family friendly outfit.  There are so many families in Nags Head, it's crazy.

Here's a shot of me cooling off at the beach in Chicago while wearing my latex bathing suit.  Don't you love the straps!?  The water was soooo cold, but if felt good to stick my feet in.

If you click on the thumbnail and look at the larger image you can sort of see some of the city along the shoreline.  It was beautiful.  We had to leave a little bit early because a storm came up and drove us away.  Everyday we were there it seamed to rain for about 30 minutes in the early afternoon. 

I didn't worry about the rain because I was wearing my umbrella - aka latex bathing suit :)  Question for my readers - would you prefer more professional shots of my latex excursions with lighting setups or do you like the quick snap look and feel that I've used so far?

I'm going  to be a bit A.D.D today and skip forward to some other images besides Chicago.  A few weeks ago BF sent me a package in the mail via over night express.  Inside it there was a  card with Calligraphy for the word "love", a transparent latex negligee with black trim and matching latex panties, and 4 scented candles.

I went home for lunch from work, and that is when I discovered the package.  BF was coming over that night, so I had all day to think about seeing him.  There was a note that said to light the candles at 7:00 and put on the negligee - that he would be coming over with dinner.

It was very romantic of him :)  The calligraphy was a nice touch because I had just bought a calligraphy kit when I was in Japan. 

I'll return to talking about Chicago in my next post, but I was getting bored of posting the same images.  Do you like the pics of my new latex negligee?  This one is kind of abstract, but I'll post others where you can see it better.

The beach was in Chicago, a 20 minute walk from our hotel and right down from the Navy Pier.  You cross a 4 lane highway and then you're on the beach, with 40 story tall buildings behind you.  Absolutely breath taking!  Wish I had some pictures of that, but I don't think we snapped any.

If I were to request a latex swim suit again, I think I would not choose black as the primary color.  The latex heated up quite a bit in the sun.  The water was cold, so it was good to cool  me off, but that material, plus being black, heats up really quick.

Most importantly BF loved it.  He was frantically snapping pictures because the battery was running low on the camera.  We only got like 8 beach shots and he had to keep turning the camera off and then back on to snap 1 more pic.  After it officially died, we took a little nap, with BF resting his hand on my back.  I know he likes the feel of latex, and I think it's sweet :)  Wish we had a pick of that.

Below is a pic of the "orb" or "bean" as the local Chicagoans refer to it.  It's this massive bean shaped highly glossy piece of art.  It looks as if it's made of a sculpted mirror - super reflective.  You get a cool panorama of the city by shooting into it - as seen below.

Yeah - my first shots from Chicago!  This one is slightly out of focus if you look at the larger res shot, so they'll only get better from here :)  This is a shot of me in a HedonsFair latex ruffle skirt - checking myself out in front of our hotel mirror.

While we were in the Windy City we went to an area called "The Mile".  It's a girls dream - tons and tons of retail shopping.  I wanted to find something that my baby would like, so we dropped by Forever 21 and I picked up the black top that you see in the photo.

It's totally something that you would wear if you were 17 and, uh, trying to show your slutty side.  Not really something I could find an occasion to wear out, but he picked it out and it did make for some fun photos. 

Chicago is such a cool city!  It is well thought out and planned.  You can walk pretty much anywhere - the sidewalks are really wide.  The public transportation is also very good.  One of the things that we both liked the best were the beaches on Lake Michigan.  First off - Lake Michigan is HUGE - it's more like a small ocean than a lake.

We visited one of the beaches Sunday morning before we left, and I wore a black and white trimed latex tankini to the beach - the highlight of the trip I'm sure for BF!  Below is a shot of the Navy Pier and Lake Michigan from our Hotel.

I'm wearing shined up latex, literally from head to toe, and the dress is a chengsam with really long slit going up the leg, along with my leather jacket - because it is super windy and chilly.

We have to walk past the front desk of our hotel as well as the parking attendants, and I have to admit feeling a bit uncomfortable as I felt like they were thinking that I was a high-paid prostitute.

I'm in a hotel in the city, wearing all latex, and coming and going after 10:00pm...  Hmmm, what would you think?

Regardless, I had BF go and get the car ready, and I walked out alone.  Honestly, I stared straight ahead and tried not to make eye contact as I headed out the door. 

I did the same thing upon returning, but on the return BF was walking with me, and he didn't see anyone checking us out - I guess you see so much crazy stuff in San Fran that it wasn't too out of the ordinary.  Either that or the hotel staff try to look the other way when high priced latex clad prostitutes come and go :)

Here's the skinny on diff types of lubricant - some are better than others!

* Silicone-based:  long lasting, waterproof but can break down other silicone products like sex toys.

* Petroleum-based:  (like petroleum jelly, Vaseline)  irritates vagina, and will break down latex very quickly

* Oil-based:  (vegetable oil, butter) safe for vagina, but also breaks down latex

* Water-based:  (water, glycerin, paraben)  safe for vagina, safe for use with latex and latex products.  Dries out the quickest, but can be rehydrated using some water or more lubricant.

Why do Balenciaga's models all have the same dark eye makeup with an I'm-going-to-kill-then-eat-you expression?

Balenciaga, the fashion house designed by legendary Nicolas Ghesquiere (did I spell that right) recently showed their Fall 2008 clothing line....modern, elegant, risky, and very very edgy.  

He designed a couple of modern takes on the classic black cocktail dresses, but what drew the most attention were his slim cut latex dresses.  His approach wasn't fetish, like Gaultier or Galliano, but the result was modern and wearable latex fashions.  See black cocktail dress (left), latex womanly dress (middle), and liquid latex dress (right). 

Honestly I've never understood the whole fascination with anal.  Why do men loooove anal sex?  The other day I was asked by a certain someone :) if I'd be open to doing anal.  Bc I'm open-minded, want to please my man, and naturally curious, all wrapped up in a conservative little package, I took the opportunity to do a little bit of internet research and yes, blog on the topic :)
