Ok, so the music sucks, the singer I don't really like anything about her, the actors are less-than-believable... but the outfits rock!

Lots of music videos these days feature fetish elements like ballet boots, patent vinyl jeans, latex dresses, pvc catsuits, etc - but for some reason this video really stood out to me.

You have pvc nurses, vinyl french maids, pink latex outfits, and what appears to be amber transparent pvc skirts and tops.  Could be transparent latex, but it looked more like plastic to me.  Seems clear to me they were going for a fetish theme.

Here's what I don't get about this song/video: the song repearts the same melody and lyrics for roughly 4 minutes, and the singing isn't that great.  If you were trying to sell sex, why not get a hotter singer?  The video keeps breaking to her, and I cringe every time - go back to the sexy dancing models in the shiny pvc!

There is a music video by a group called, "All Saints", that is one of my favorites when it comes to fetish fashion and kink in a music video.  I believe the name of the song is "Rock Steady" and it features the four girls of the band robbing a bank.

The two members that actually go into the bank are handcuffed together in what appears to be some sort of master / slave relationship.  One of the girls wears a black, below the knee, shiny pvc skirt.

She seduces two bank employees with some interesting moves.  Below are some thumbs from the video and of the group.  The group overall seems to support fetish fashion as it's not that hard to find pics of them rocking out in leather and vinyl clothing. 

I don't own a tv, so most of my television watching occurs on the internet and somehow I end up watching a variety of British TV shows.  One of my favorites was Tony and Joe do Tokyo - but I digress.

This is a clip of a show called "A week of living dangerously".  It's sort of like one of those makeover shows, where the production crew tries to help the person with whatever their issues are by going totally over the top with various requests of the person.

In this particular episode, a woman was having trouble with her marriage, getting her husband to help out and do the things that she needed.  Her big problem was her lack of assertiveness, so they gave her a black pvc catsuit, over the knee patent vinyl boots with stilletto heels, and had her boss around her husband, and walk the dog in public.

The idea was for her to take on the role of "master" and it made for a very entertaining / funny episode. 

It seems that if you are looking for it, there is a lot of latex, pvc, and vinyl clothing in the media.  MTV videos seem to always have some sort of fetish themed attire.  I guess because it is edgy, glamorous, and very visually striking.

I must admit that I have a one track mind at times, and right now I'm again thinking about marketing.  The end of this year, we may add a section of the website dedicated to your posts of latex clothing in the media.
