I keep a running collection of images that I come across and store them in a folder called "blogs" specifically for writing my blog.

When I post an image, I delete it from my folder.  Recently it's been growing much too large, so for the next couple days I'm going to try and "clean out the trash" and either post or delete images that have been sitting around for far too long.

Today I am cleaning up my subfolder on fetish nun outfits.  I'll talk briefly about each pic and why it made it into the folder.  The pic of the girl wearing a pvc nun outfit in her apartment with the pink bed - this girl just looks trashy.  If I didn't know better, I would say that pic was taking about 3 minutes prior to a homemade porn video being made - hmmm, the thought is kind of hot...

The shot of the girl sitting in the window wearing the pvc priest cloak and nun habit - this one struck me as bizarre.  She looks kinda bookish / dorky, and the heavy duty latex neck collar made me do a double take.

The last two nun shots were more professionally taken.  I liked the model because she is just a touch "plump", but in a cute way.  She's carrying a few extra pounds but they are distributed evenly, and it just makes her look cute.  Plus in the pic where she is wearing the gas mask - I really like the fact that she's basically covered in latex except for above her boobs, and yet it's not a catsuit - I'm bored of catsuit pics. 

Fetish nuns - done, on to the next...

Latex and vinyl nun outfits are commonly done, and photography mixing religion and fetish is also fairly common.  Why?  The first answer that comes to mind is the taboo of mixing religion and fetish clothing.  Nun's are supposed to be chaste, dedicated to the lord. How exciting is it to think of one of these people so turned on by their desires that they are dressing sensualy in their own mandated garb.  It's sexy, it's naughty, it's one of the rarer fantasy's of men.

Another reason, and probably more plausible, is that fetishists have a certain distaste for religion's adherence to strict rules regarding sexuality.  What better way to mock religion than to shoot a latex nun outfit, complete with gas mask and rosery beads.

People love costumes, it allows us to escape and try on something different for a day.  We can express a different attitude or hidden traits that we don't normally show in daily lives.  We have pilot uniforms, nurses, doctors, police officers, priests, military officers, and we have sexualized and made costumes out of just about every uniform there is.  The simplest answer is that we just like to take pictures of us playing dressup - capturing the escape on film, or acting for the camera - it's great fun, and plenty of people enjoy viewing the images.
