Theres a thunderstorm outside right now, I love them a lot. Theyre especially the best when you're stuck at home answering messages and preparing for a trip. American Beauty just came on too.

lately i have been buying a lot of leather gloves, i have about 5 pairs now i need to stop hah.

this weekend i will be stealing my friend cassandra to go stuff our faces at the Baltimore Cupcake Company. creamy buttery action-packed cupcake goodness. its already 6:30 and i havent even dressed yet. if i didnt have a day job i definitely would be living on the dark side, meaning id go to bed at 4am every night and waking up sometime in the later afternoon hours.

i have a couple of interviews backed up right now, since im working on them as im writing here ill post a few questions. hope they dont mind being stolen...

When you’re not modeling, what fills yours days? When I'm not physically in front of the camera I'm constantly thinking about or planning a shoot so I never fully get away from modeling. I also work outside of modeling and I go to school part-time so I lack the time to actually fill out any days. However when I get a day off, depending on my mood, I'll either spend it going out with my friends or staying at home watching movies and soaking in the tub.

What is your favorite genre of image, fetish, glamour, high fashion or something else? I like a combination of all three actually. Fetish is very sexual, unique, and fresh. While glamour can reflect the beauty in an image. High fashion has the powerful posing, the attitude, and insane wardrobe selections. Combine all three and I think you have what I strive for! I must say that my original love for modeling came from fetish and high fashion so I could say that I appreciate them the most.

Do you feel that having a trademark look is an advantage, particularly in the field of alternative modelling? Its definitely an advantage to have that trademark look, you want to be remembered and recognized in the industry in anything that you do modeling-related. At the same time, you need to maintain a certain level of versatility as a model, nobody wants to see that same look over and over, always try new things and keep it interesting!

M

see the entire set on my upcoming paysite www.themoshroom.com!

latex by HedonsFair

i dont really sunbathe, in fact i avoid the sun like the plague and if i go outside im in the shade with a thick coat of sunblock. the only time i dont mind the sun is at the beach where ill still probably sit under the shade after an hour of sun. nonethless i really wanted to do this idea on a rooftop and turn red after sitting out there for 5 min.

a week until my LA trip, im so excited. lots of things to do before i go ive been sleeping on average of 5 hours a night trying to get everything in yay. so much planned for cali, some new projects lined up, for one the Fetish. Fashion. Fuel Workshop. i believe there are still slots open, dont miss out! For more information visit www.LoriMann.com/Classes.htm

plan to shoot nonstop in my custom HedonsFair latex and pieces by Vaunt Designs. hope to visit everyone, especially those who know the area well and can take me to the delicious eateries and shops :D

in local news we recently had a major power outage that forced me to leave work for half the day and sweat all night. the next day the power was still out so my mom and i went shopping, we havent done that in a while so it was nice to do something together. sushi and mochi balls are the addiction for the summertime.
besides chilling with arpie and our sushi adventures ive been mainly editing sets in my spare time leading to a lack of a social life. or maybe im just trying to avoid the 100 degree weather by staying inside thus giving me a chance to catch up on some dvds...

bunny! bunny!

yesterday i took a trip to visit the beach with vance of phetishfotos.com

trip was epic. we stopped at sonic along the way, had some watermelon creamslush. the beach was chilly but beautiful. it reminded me of how i cant wait for summer to be here. i wore a gorgeous black latex corset made by syren and a cute pair of latex ruffle panties by hedonsfair. i loved what we produced, see results below.

in other news, hedonsfair has started construction on my customs. high waisted suspender skirts and transparent ruffles to come. vaunt designs has also started on some really beautiful latex and leather pieces, i currently have one design on hand that should be shot soon, shes really creative. spiral stitching visited me not too long ago and we discussed some crazy ideas together.
im currently working on some fafi inspired items.
classes were really wearing me down in terms of getting wardrobe and shooting ideas together, but now that theyre ending theres so much to come.

seems like alumninyc.net is taking forever but thats coming in, and when it does prepare for the take over. shirts, 2012, and all.

the houston and la trips keep creeping closer, get ready. nyc was added, may 31st-june 1st. some other places i may visit soon, las vegas + north carolina.

strange fascinations with El Dia de los Muertos and goat horns.

karma can hit badly, dont drop the bomb.

bring on the future

Posted on: 2008-04-27

2 hours until the Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth show, cant fucking wait. if anyone is located in the DC area, come to the 930 club tonight to see these guys.

i just finished my copy of The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson that Jimi of Alumni sent over. wow. im still digesting but its one of the finest books ive read. chock full of enough rum to o.d., enough humor to wet your pants, and a stirred combination of sarcasm and hard-talk. this is a book that my generation and the ones to come should read, not that crap they feed children in public school. knowledge is power children!

yesterday josh aka shu vua (www.joshmarks.com) picked me up and we ventured into the jungle aka harpers ferry. on the way we did stop at a sheetz and had a picnic in he middle of the boondocks. he refused to eat my favorite junkfood item, pink snowballs, claiming he doesnt eat anything furry heh. i want a truckload of them now.

josh also brought up a great point yesteday. he said he visited a school recently and saw a bunch of Obama shirts. he said that usually he would imagine seeing shirts with bob marley or malcolm x, leaders or great-thinkers of the past...and it was a moving image to see somebody of the present who may be the next leader with great ideas to be represented on those shirt now, as if were finally moving into the present and not just living in nostalgia.

anyways we shot and got some great images. i wore an odd outfit of a vintage girl's sailor dress with red latex gloves and stockings.

in the future, this is how we'll dress. 1 part vintage because we can never escape nostalgia + 1 part interesting fabric latex because in the future people will finally put down their fear of fetish and sexiness + 1 part tribal-inspired hair just because. bring on the future.

step back and take a deep breath, there will always be enough time for forever...

today is one of those days where i dont feel like doing anything at  all. not check my inboxes, not getting my work done, not rambling or typing up any ridiculous quotes that probably make no sense at all to anybody but myself. today however i woke up from my crazy dream, rolled out of bed and went to starbucks to chilled with my friend rae. i came back home 3 hours later and took a nap. friday i went to get sushi with aprie again, this time with karina. their sweet rice and fried mango can get too addicting.

this past week ive been battling with too much nonsense. its no longer surprising but people can just be so ignorant. that generation will be pushed aside by its own stupidity however, so no matter.
my dates for LA may finally be settled on. i cant wait to get back to cali and houston to shoot :)

never posted these before but theyre way back from my february shoot with vance at the asylum.

behind the scenes...

^ my friend says thats junk in the trunk heh

big thanks to Death to Baron McSquiggles (myspace.com/squeakybrain) for taking these.
 some final shots.....

i loved these. there will be an entire set up on my upcoming paysite, stay informed.

im waiting on some custom latex from hedonsfair and a few other designers, i really cant wait. im in dire need of some new rubber coverings, ill never have enough. soon ill devote a room to my latex, corset, stockings collection and shoes.

i also need one of these

speaking of customs..jimi of alumni clothing created me these really killer hoodies. on the back it has one of his designs that says 'too famous for fame', in the front 'alumni' and on the top part of the hood he has my name printed, i love them :D in addition he printed me a whole stack of bandanas with that same mosh print all over them, so awesome. ill include some images soon. www.alumninyc.net is almost ready as well, cant wait.
spring is finally here. time to break out my skanky band shirts and boots that i actually should wear in the wintertime.
this backpiece work has gotten my head tied up for months but it gets me so excited.

more travel, shoots, latex adventures soon to come.

you make me crazier than normal..

catwalk tragedy

Posted on: 2008-03-31

philly was wonderful. theres something i love about it everytime i go there.

the catwalk tragedy show was good, im glad i came. i shot with lithium picnic and hung out with apnea while she shot with kencredible. met some nice people at the show and saw some familiar faces....

daniela kenzie, apnea, me

daniela kenzie and i

thanks to the picnics for letting me invade and crash in their room during me stay :) i love those guys. the show consisted of 60+ models, three parts, and judging of the models. i would have to say that my favorite part was the talent portion, there was a lot of stripping and boobs.

on my way back i got my first speeding ticket, what a downer. but the cop was nice and marked down 20mph less than what he caught me on, so im actually grateful.

i finally got approved to a credit card without a ridiculous apr. i dont know how i survived this long without one. i can finally order new hair for my next color, todd hurley has volunteered for some experimentation its going to be epic.

some people ask me how i feel comfortable with doing fetish and nude work, my answer is simple, i was born to do it.

i was like a lot until i was about 8. the neighbors started complaining apparently.

less than 24 hours before my new alumni hoodies and shirts come in, i cant wait. there may be a special shirt coming out with them involving a special someone so keep checking back for updates.

last but not least....

SAVE APNEA!!!!

shirts, banners, etc will be available soon!

spread the word.

im going to go make some angel food cupcakes with raspberry swirl frosting.

SF FETISH BALL PART 1

Posted on: 2008-03-13

i want to go back to california.

the sexy vima roomate and i at the fetish ball wearing our beautiful antiseptic corsets. miss her and that corset dearly.

vance was a busy fellow and was kind enough to shoot all these shots, lending them to me for entertainment material on my blog.

the first night was madness. lithium picnic shot apnea and i in a very crazy corset, i wont ruin it by trying to explain so you'll have to just wait for images. the gallery show happened that night as well, for those who were there i hope you stopped by my 'box' to say hello. the gallery featured hussar, lithium picnic, venus wept, and many others. in other words, a fantastic show.
they had an auction benefiting lp's lawsuit relief fund. the pink schoolgirl shot of me by lp got sold for $300, apnea's gorgeous face by lp was sold for $350. supa!

the second night was the antiseptic shoot with venus wept. the shots will be killer.

the third day was rehearsals and that night was the show.

i stop here for now.

on another note. recently ive been receiving a lot of e-mailed asking various questions, both modeling and non-modeling related. feel free to leave a comment here with your question. ill get around to answering them if i get any.
