My first latex dress
Something about being in front of the camera brought me happiness. I loved to pose, get into character, and no matter how many times I had done it before, I always got a feeling of elation when I saw my photos for the first time. It was always a rush, always exciting to see what we had created.
I had been shooting for only a few months. Recently I had discovered an online website where I could upload my pictures and create a model portfolio. Photographers also had a section where they could upload their portfolio, and if our creative interests matched up we could email each other and setup shoots.
A lot of the type of shooting I was into was alternative - goth, fantasy, fetish, macabre. However, I had never had any experience with latex. I wasn't even aware of the fact that people made clothing out of latex. When I got an invitation to do a latex photoshoot, I jumped on it!
I wasn't really sure what to expect. I had shot pvc and vinyl fashions before. Latex turned out to be quite different. First off, it was much more stretchy. Secondly, I had to lube my skin with this slick, clear, gel like stuff, to help the latex slip on - as the dress was quite tight and rubber does not glide against the skin well at all.
The first thing I noticed was that all sensations seem to go right through the latex to your skin - it's hard to describe the sensation, it's one of those things you just have to do for yourself. Immediately the latex becomes whatever temperature is near it. If a cold breeze blows across it, the cold cools the latex from your warm body temperature to the temp of the breeze, and it creates a sensation that feels very sensuous.
To get a high gloss shine from the rubber, you have to also lube the outside of the garmet. The photographers assistant rubbed me down with shine, and again, it created a cool sensation as she rubbed her hands across the dress, covering it with lube.
Half way through shooting I got to check out some of the shots. Oh my gosh - it was like wearing liquid sex! The pictures were so amazingly sexy! I decided I had to have my own latex dress, and that day I walked away from the shoot with my very own first piece of latex clothing. It's kind of become an addiction for me now - growing my collection into a diverse amount of latex clothing ranging from catsuits to dresses to lingerie.
I can't recommend strongly enough for people who have never tried it, to take a walk on the wild side and pick up some rubber clothing to check out. Whether you are taking pictures, spicing up your love life, or just looking for something different, you won't regret it!
